Welcome again to the presentation of the Federal Republic of Germany

25 German companies decided to exhibit their collections in a pavilion with a space of more than 1,300 square meters, located in Hall W2 at the New China International Exhibition Center.

It is an honour and pleasure to invite you to the first consecutive participation of the Federal Republic of Germany at CHIC, offering the German Fashion Industry another great opportunity to benefit from the ongoing increase of market share of German brands in China.
25 German companies decided to exhibit their collections in a pavilion with a space of more than 1,300 square meters, located in Hall W2 at the New China International Exhibition Center.
Wellknown upscaled German brands will be shown their collections from womenswear, menswear, lingerie/underwear to accessories.
After a decrease in fashion exports to China in 2010, business has picked up again and reached a shipment value of € 78 million from January to November 2011, up by 60 per cent against the same period in 2010. Because of this above average increase, China could climb up the list of the most important German fashion export markets, from number 29 to number 22. This increase in exports to China was even topped by men's wear sales, which grew by 68 per cent, compared to an increase of 42 per cent for women's wear. Lingerie and Underwear shipments to China also registered a remarkable rise of 68 per cent. Given such positive development, the German exhibitors at CHIC are looking forward to a successful exhibition and another good year in 2012.
